We’re looking for a Property Operations Associate to join our Property Valuations Team, helping to drive our growth identifying the best residential properties to invest in. Property Operations at Bricklane covers valuation, negotiation, legal due diligence, property management and portfolio management.


What you will be working on

Buying residential property is at the core of what we do, as is screening thousands of residential properties. As a member of the Operations team, you will be given all the training you need and you will play a key part in our scale using our in-house tool to find the most profitable properties.

As some examples, you’ll be:

  • Assessing the suitability of a target property for an investment in terms of its location, design, condition, size etc.

  • Calculating the potential rental income and costs of owning a target property.

  • Supporting the team to hit challenging KPIs that are fundamental to Bricklane's rapid growth.


Your career development

  • Training: In your first three months you will be given on the job training to identify residential properties for investments, and you will also be able to use the online tools needed for the role. After you complete your probation, you will be enrolled on a residential property focused certificate course that takes seven months to complete. This will give you 75 hours of structured training. We also want you to develop your fundamental business soft skills so you will get structured training on subjects like time management and business presentation.

  • Support: You will have your weekly check-in meetings with your line manager to help you identify and overcome any difficulties you are having in your training or in your role.

  • Transition: We are a growing business. After two years of success in this role, you may have the opportunity to join other Property Operations teams as a Junior Associate or stay in the Valuations team as a Senior Associate.

Job requirements

What we’re looking for

It is not necessary to have any prior job experience at all as you will be given all the training you need as part of your first year development plan when you join our team. However, we are looking for individuals who can demonstrate the following:

  • High attention to detail

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong communication skills

  • Has interest in real estate (desirable)

  • We will then share a simple take home exercise with you so you can get an idea of the day-to-day role.

  • You will then be invited for an interview with the Valuations Manager to learn more and ask any questions you like, now that you’re more familiar.
