What you will be working on
Buying property is central to what we do, and good investments depend on successful negotiations. You will become the best buyer in the market, with help from our proprietary data analytics platform, Compass. You’ll also make a profound impact on the investment returns we deliver to our institutional partners. Finally, you’ll be one of the first members in a rapidly growing team and enjoy both the progression opportunities and recognition that come with this.
In this role you will:
Negotiate on, and agree purchase of, significant volumes of residential property at the best prices
Organise due diligence processes, including assessment of potential issues with target properties
Ensure viewings and surveys are thorough and carried out on schedule
Utilise information obtained from viewings to optimise your negotiations
What we're looking for:
A real passion for negotiation - you’ll be driven to secure the best property prices and deliver the best returns for our institutional partners
Experienced with the workings of an estate agency - minimum of 2 years' experience
Very strong attention to detail - you’ll be looking for crucial information from reports to position your negotiations
Great communication skills
Good technical knowledge of the property market
Ability to collaborate with colleagues from a wide range of disciplines
Flexibility to work on operational tasks where needed

We will invite you to undertake a short online assessment for attention to detail and other related skills.
You’ll interview with our Negotiations Manager, to whom you’ll be reporting.
Finally, we will send you a short scenario analysis exercise to complete. You’ll discuss your answers with our Head of Acquisitions as the final stage of the process.
